In Concord, the deck is often the best room in the house. Lake views off Fort Loudoun Lake, Concord Park, and wooded lots make elevated decks, multi-level decks, and covered outdoor living areas especially valuable here.
Lake-area lots are often steep and close to the water, which demands careful footing design and attention to setbacks. We design and build decks to code, pull permits through Knox County, and use low-maintenance composite and PVC decking that holds up to lake-level humidity.
Deck & Outdoor Living Services in Concord
Custom Deck Building
We design and build single-level, multi-level, elevated, and wraparound decks. Each one starts with a site visit to look at grade, drainage, sun, and views, followed by a drawing and material options priced side by side.
Composite, PVC & Wood Decking
We build with pressure-treated lumber, composite, and PVC decking. Composite and PVC cost more up front but save years of sanding and sealing; pressure-treated wood keeps the initial price down. We will show you samples and real pricing for each.
Covered Decks & Screened Porches
Want to enjoy your deck without the bugs or the afternoon sun? We build covered decks and screened porches with proper roof tie-ins, flashing, and finishes that match your home.
Pergolas & Outdoor Living Features
From cedar-look pergolas to deck stair lighting and built-in planters, we add the details that turn a deck into an outdoor room.
Deck Repair, Resurfacing & Replacement
If your deck's framing is sound, new decking and railings can make it look brand new for far less than a rebuild. If the ledger or posts are failing, we will tell you and replace the structure properly.
Railings, Stairs & Code Compliance
Our decks are built to pass inspection: correct footing sizes, flashed ledger boards, approved hardware, and guardrails and stairs that meet current code.

Concord Deck FAQs
Can you build a lake-view deck in Concord?
Yes. We design elevated and multi-level decks that make the most of Fort Loudoun Lake views.
What decking holds up best near the lake?
Composite and PVC decking resist moisture, mold, and fading better than wood in lakeside conditions.
Who handles deck permits in Concord?
Concord is in unincorporated Knox County, so Knox County Codes Administration issues permits. We handle the process.
How long does a composite deck last?
Quality composite and PVC decking typically carries long manufacturer warranties and can last 25 years or more with basic cleaning. The framing underneath is just as important, which is why we build it to code with proper flashing and hardware.
